Sailyn on every device you use
One account on all of them. Sign in on each and your plan, your sessions and your block list come with you.
Windows
Sailyn for Windows waits in the tray. During a session it closes the programs and games you choose and the tab of any blocked site, in every browser on the computer, and your reminders and alarms arrive with no browser open.
Windows 10 or 11. The setup is not signed yet, so Windows may say the publisher is unknown: choose More info, then Run anyway.
Mac
Sailyn for Mac waits in the menu bar. During a session it closes the apps and games you choose and the tab of any blocked site in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc, and your reminders and alarms arrive with no browser open.
macOS 11 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel. Open the file and drag Sailyn into Applications. Apple has not checked the app yet, so the first time you open it your Mac says it cannot: open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.
Linux
Sailyn for Linux waits in the tray. During a session it closes the programs and games you choose and the tab of any blocked site, and your reminders and alarms arrive with no browser open. It needs an X11 session; on Wayland, use the extension for sites.
Or the .deb for Ubuntu and Debian
64-bit, in an X11 session. Make the AppImage executable (Properties, then Allow executing, or chmod +x) and open it. The .deb also installs xdotool, which closing a tab needs; with the AppImage, install it yourself.
Android
The Android app holds your chosen apps shut while a session runs and switches Do Not Disturb on, then puts it back.
Android will ask you to allow installing from your browser once. Sailyn is not on the Play Store yet.
Browser extension
For a browser on its own: the extension closes your blocked sites in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers while a session runs. On Windows, Mac and Linux the app does this and blocks programs too.
iPhone and iPad
There is nothing to download. Open Sailyn in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Setup then adds two Shortcuts that switch a Focus mode on and off with your sessions.
