Sailyn for working professionals
A calendar says where you have to be. It says nothing about the four hours of real work between the meetings, which is the part that slips. Sailyn is the other half: it takes the work, looks at what the calendar already spent, and puts the work in what is left.
Your calendar is an input, not a second app
Connect Google, Microsoft or Apple, or paste a calendar link, and every meeting becomes time that is already spent. Nothing is placed over it. A day made only of fixed things shows as a day to open rather than as a clear one.
If a meeting moves, the rest of the day is rebuilt from where it moved to, and anything you already started or finished stays where it is. Work that leaves the day leaves its time empty rather than dragging everything after it.
It learns how long things actually take you
You say an hour, it takes ninety minutes, and next time Sailyn plans ninety. It keeps your own median per kind of work, with three finished tasks as the floor before it adjusts anything, and it says out loud what it is planning and how many tasks that figure comes from. Your typed estimate is never overwritten, so the comparison keeps working.
Getting something in without opening the app
Work arrives while you are in something else, and a note you have to open an app to write is a note you do not write. So there are several doors: email it to your own Sailyn address, share a page to it from a phone, press N on a computer, or use a Shortcut on an iPhone. Every one of them goes through the same planner as a sentence you typed, so a line naming Thursday lands on Thursday.
Hours you do not work, and time you keep
You set working hours and which days are work days, and a day off gets no capacity at all, so nothing is quietly planned into a Sunday. Time you keep free is a thing you can put in the week on its own, and nothing is placed over it. There is no notification between 22:00 and 07:00 except for a session you started yourself.
What it is not for
It is not a team tool. There are no assignees, no boards, no reporting up, and nobody can see your tasks. Two people can agree to work at the same hour and can share a goal, and that is the whole of the social side. If you need to run a department, Sailyn is not it; if you need your own four hours to actually happen, it is.
Sailyn is a planner and a focus timer. It is not a medical device, it treats nothing, and nothing on these pages is advice about a condition.
Know what you need to do, but can't get started? Sailyn gives you one next step, a plan that adapts, and no penalty for difficult days.
